Workaholic

This vast patch of land, suddenly teeming with life, joy, cheers and jeers. It was not a long time ago that I just lived together with my younger brother, now he's seemingly ahead of me on life in just about anything.

Married to a caring wife, had a smart and diligent daughter who's a real animal lover. Last time I saw her, she was on the way to become a top class horse jockey all before even graduating high school. On her free time, she would coddle their 2 horses with an amount of love any child would envy.

And it didn't stopped there, 2 horses weren't enough for them, they're going for a pair of dogs and a kitten to boot.

Now me and my brother are at our twilight years, yet he had so much joy and happiness around him. I was alone all this time. No partner, no real close friend, I barely even talked to our family butler of few years.

Mayora Soul

It has been three days since the last time Mayora left his apartment. The owner of this small but cozy living space is currently having stormy emotions raging inside.

On one hand, he cannot stop getting overjoyed from the memories and the sensation of his kiss. He was over the moon whenever he fondly remembered that event.

As awkward as it might have been, when Timbo hugged him so dearly, when their contrasting figures are so close to each other, when their lips connect.

Mayora felt nothing but utter delight every time he visualized that over and over again.

On the other hand, he was also agitated by the fact that it might have been the end of him and Timbo. Mayora saw little to no chance of them being friends anymore, much less of a lover.

Mayora Body

I have lost it, totally lost it. No way back now. For weeks I can't bring myself to check my phone, I can't open the group messages. Not anymore.

It has been three weeks since Mayora confessed his romantic attractions toward Timbo, and things have not been well for Mayora. He can't get it out of his head. All the words are playing on a loop inside his brain, time and time again.

He kept it to himself, not risking any chances. He has not even had any contact with Timbo since. His works are barely affected, thankfully. Things could get from bad to worse if he can't perform his job properly and to the worst if he gets fired because of it.

Unlike the troubled Mayora, Timbo shows no sign of being conflicted. His regular social media posts are no different from before although his previous posts are mostly club-related activities and the post captions are pretty generic.

The bane of being an athlete, I guess. You cannot act to your heart's content anymore. Never mind the 'morally correct thing to do' or 'be a good image to the young one' , a more personal issue is sponsorship and contractual obligations. Serious stuff if you never paid attention to it before. Act wrongly and you have hefty fines to pay.

Mayora Mind

It was in my second years of high school that I acquainted with them, meeting through sheer luck and fate. I, for one, never heard of them before and vice-versa. We lived in the same city, going through the same middle school even, yet we never met each other in any way, shape, or form. Until that day.

It was not a 'proper' meeting per se, we meet due to a middleman, in an online video game. There was the usual awkwardness in the first meeting, then came the second, then the third, and so on and so forth. In my third year of high school, we became regular gaming buddies. With no pre-determined gaming schedule,  we just hit up the other party when we want to.
